Abdou Razack Traoré, from Burkinabe - Ivorian origin. He is a professional football player born 28th of December 1988 in Abidjan, Lagunes, Ivory Coast. He is 1.70 m (5 ft 7 in) tall and belongs to Gaziantepspor playing as a midfielder. Nowadays, Gaziantepspor has the services of Traore up to 2016.
Traore made his debut with Raja Casablanca in 2005 but he had little prominence in the Moroccan squad as he only played 4 games during the whole season. Ater finishing his contract with Raja Casablanca, Traore moved to Norway to join Rosenborg on a free transfer. With Rosenborg, Traore achieved 2 Tippeligaen (2009 and 2010) and 1 Superfinalen (2010) and even he was featured on the list of 50 most exciting teenagers in world football in the November 2007 issue of World Soccer.
At the end of the 2008 season with Rosenborg, the Ivorian-Burkinabe player had a violent episode with his fellow Oyvind Storflor, it was alleged Traore to knock the Norwegian player down during a practice session. Eventually, Traore was banned fromplaying the last two matches of the 2008 season.
After not living up to expectations at the Norwegian club, Rosenborg released Traore and was sold to the Polish squad Lechia Gdansk for an undisclosed fee. The African player debuted for Lechia on 28 August 2010 in an Ekstraklasa match against Slask Wroclaw. Two years and a half later, Gaziantepsor bought Traore on a free transfer on 15 January 2013.
The Burkina Faso national football team capped Abdou Traore for the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon & Equatorial Guinea and the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa where Burkina Faso turned out runners-up losing 1-0 against Nigeria. He made his national team debut on 27 March 2011 against Namibia.
